What the “Verified” badge means on Brouz
You will see a small “Verified” badge next to some providers’ names on Brouz. Here is exactly what it means, what it does not mean, and what the other labels on a listing tell you.
What “Verified” means
Brouz has checked two things about the provider:
- Their PAN. Every provider’s PAN is checked before their listings can go live. One PAN can be linked to only one Brouz account.
- Where they get paid. Their bank account or UPI ID has been checked with the bank, so their payments are set up.
So every provider on Brouz has a checked PAN. A Verified provider has also finished setting up their payments. And Brouz pays providers only into an account in their own name.
What it does not mean
- It is not a police or background check. Brouz does not check criminal records.
- It is not a promise about the quality of work. Ratings and reviews from real customers tell you about that.
- It does not mean the provider works for Brouz. Providers are independent people offering their own skills.
That is why Brouz holds your money until you confirm the work is done — whether the provider is Verified or not. How Brouz keeps your money safe explains how.
Other labels you will see
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verified | PAN checked, and payments set up to a checked bank account or UPI ID. |
| Star rating | The average rating from customers who booked and finished this service on Brouz. |
| New on Brouz | No reviews yet. The provider may just be new. |
| Comes to you | The provider can come to your place, for the delivery charge shown. |
| FSSAI number | For food: the seller’s FSSAI registration, checked by Brouz. |
| Qualifications | Certificates the provider added. Brouz checks each one before it is shown. |
| Plus or Pro | The provider pays for a Brouz plan. It is not a quality mark. |
| Featured | A paid place above the search results, always marked “Featured”. The results below are not affected. |
Ratings on Brouz are double-blind: neither side sees the other’s rating until both have rated. So nobody gives a good rating just to get one back.
Choosing well
- Read a few reviews, not just the stars.
- Tap Enquire to ask questions before you book.
- Check the cancellation terms on the listing.
- Keep chat and payment in the app — that is what protects you.
In short
- Verified means Brouz checked the provider’s PAN and their bank account or UPI ID.
- It is not a police check or a promise about the work.
- Reviews come only from real, finished bookings.
- Your money is protected either way, when you pay in the app.
Questions about Verified
Why aren’t all providers Verified?
Some providers have not finished setting up their payments yet. Their PAN is still checked — every provider’s PAN is checked before their listings go live.
Can a provider pay to become Verified?
No. Verified comes only from the checks. Plus and Pro are paid plans, and they show as a separate badge.
